WeConsider Campaign


COVID-19 Outreach Campaign
2022

A collaboration between Washington’s Department of Health, The Anchor Group, and C+C, WeConsider was one of two campaigns launched to address COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy among African-American Washingtonians. The campaign encouraged the public to reconsider vaccination for the sake of their loved ones. Information was delivered via the telling of real stories from real people about their journey from hesitant to vaccinated.

We Consider has now received national recognition with the stunning win of Best in Public Sector at the 2023 PRWeek Awards and a Silver Anvil from the 2023 PRSA Awards. Check out my interview on The Day With Trae about my role with The Anchor Group and our win at PRWeek!


General Baptist Convention Northwest

The General Baptist Convention Northwest (GBCNW) is a non-profit organization comprised of more than 35 churches and over 5,000 members across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, California and Florida. The Washington Department of Health sponsored several of their conventions, which offered the opportunity to engage with local faith-based communities.

I was tasked with coordinating the development of creative for the campaign’s event table at four different events, served as point of contact with the convention’s administrative team, contacted media to get the word out, and delivered speeches about the campaign to the audiences during the events.

Alongside sticker designs and a turkey giveaway promo, I created several double-sided flyers, each with brief summaries regarding an individual’s personal reasons for choosing vaccination. The summary of the first event can be found here.
