The Teaching-Learning Academy (TLA) is a library program dedicated to hosting dialogue sessions that bridge the gap between Western Washington University faculty/staff, students, and Bellingham community members. Every session asks participants to consider approaches to questions like, “What is our role in creating just and equitable food systems?”, “Is obtaining an education a political act?”, and “how do we create a trusting learning environment?”
As a staff lead and dialogue facilitator for the program, I was a personal stakeholder in the programs success. In the midst of a changing political climate, and branding conversations, I developed and revamped public-facing materials to re-engage our audience.
