The Teaching-Learning Academy (TLA) is a library program dedicated to hosting dialogue sessions that bridge the gap between Western Washington University faculty/staff, students, and Bellingham community members. Every session asks participants to consider approaches to questions like, “What is our role in creating just and equitable food systems?”, “Is obtaining an education a political act?”, and “how do we create a trusting learning environment?”

As a staff lead and dialogue facilitator for the program, I was a personal stakeholder in the programs success. In the midst of a changing political climate, and branding conversations, I developed and revamped public-facing materials to re-engage our audience.

After each session, dialogue highlights are sent to the listserv and posted on the program’s website with key points and action strategies discussed in each group. Here’s how I updated the formatting of these highlights to be more accessible and simple to digest:

A brochure developed to provide more details about the program.
